Show us a room...

I am following a friends blog and she came up with the idea to show a room of your house each Monday and describe why you like that room. I thought this was a fun idea, so I have decided to join in. I know it is Tuesday, but next week I will be on track.

This week I choose my kitchen.

This is the window above my sink. I love using greenery through-out my house and this is just one of the many spots you can find it!

Next to my stove I took and old wine glass and bottle rack and now I use it to hold my pot holders, favorite cookbooks and spoon rests.

You will always find candles burning in my kitchen. For one I love the way they smell...and for another I sell Gold Canyon Candles, so of course I am going to burn them!

You will always find my kitchen table decorated for the season or holiday. Right now I am using my summer colored cloth with my flip flop dish to hold my candles and salt and pepper. I always have a different basket that holds the napkins and lastly I keep pictures on the table of the kids and our friends. I would love to see your house. If you would like to join in we would love to have the opportunity to see the place you call home!

Awe...thanks Jamie for the comment! I am on my way to check out your blog! This is such a fun idea that Corie had. We should think of something new each time one topic ends.
I am sure you are enjoying being a grandma. My mom loves every minute of it! The smile I see on her face now is so much bigger and full of life...I think grandchildren do that to our parents!
