Time Flies...

My oh my...have we been busy lately! From being sick to then becoming booked with ours days I have seemed to forget about my 31 day photo challenge...so now that I have missed almost a week of postings we are just going to stop at 15 days and resume later on. 

Being sick does not allow you to do a whole lot except stay put at home...so the best thing to do when your sick is...play games! Shawn and I played quite a few board games last week...my fave was Scrabble!

If you are wondering...I WON!! :) 

After beginning to feel MUCH better we hosted our weekly play group last week at our home! Had a play date with one of Morgan's friends, Mia, and attended a FAB MK event! We are busier than ever these days...but I always try to through in some FUN!!

This week has been equally busy! As the boys head to the Dunes...us girls are getting a much needed pampering weekend...new changes...stay tuned! :)

Day 15

Day 15: A photo of you and a family member.

My Story: This is my sister, Shawn and I camping a few years ago. It had rained while we were camping so we decided to take the quads and ranger out and do a little playing...needless to say this is how we returned to camp! It's a good thing we had access to showers!

 My Story: My best friend since 7th grade, which has been 19 years...Dacia (Bates) Kyle. Even though our paths do not cross as much these days, when we talk it seems as though we are just picking up from the day before. We were both bridesmaids in each others weddings, were there when our girls were born, and share LOT'S of memories from before!

My Story: This photo was taken of us the night of our wedding. This is a night I loved because we were surrounded by all of or friends and family.

Day 10: Any photo you like for any reason.

My Story: This picture was taken when I was pregnant with Morgan. This is one of my favorite shots that were taken at this photo shoot. The moment is captured perfectly...and makes me think of James 1:17; "Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow."

My Story: This is all I could find here at my house...my parents have the rest!

Day 8: A photo of something you enjoy doing.

 My Story: One of the the most amazing things in my life is my gift to be creative. No I am not bragging, I just wholeheartedly feel that this is something I was given. I find deep joy in making things for others, just to make them smile. I make custom scrapbook pages for new mommies and others of course; the picture, is a gift I made for my aunt. It is her last name and the top and bottom square are for her to insert family photos. Almost every thing in my house is handmade by me. I feel it adds that extra feeling that makes our house a home! 

Dance & Chocolate = A Perfect Day

We started our day with Morgan's dance class!

Next we headed to downtown Historic Glendale for the all famous Chocolate Affair.

This dress is made form all chocolate by a wonderful designer Bri Bridge. She displays and sells her clothing at The Pink House, a cute little boutique in Historic Glendale.

 My Story: What do I stand for?? I think I stand for LOVE...loving my family & friends. I try my best to help others when needed & I always put others first. Sometimes I consider it a weakness when I wear my heart on my sleeve, but I can come to realize that is just me. I love everyone and want to make sure they know it! So weakness or not it is me and that is what I stand for...

My oh my...where do the days go? It seems like just yesterday we brought Morgan home from the hospital and now we are planning a birthday to celebrate her 3rd year of life!

She LOVES to sleep with her Paris! They snuggle all the time!

She LOVES to hang and play with her BFF Tristan! Especially at the Zoo or the park!

She LOVES to ride the carousel whenever she sees one!

and did I mention trains...she LOVES, LOVES trains!!

Day 4

Day 4: A photo of a place you'd like to visit.

My Story: All though their are many places I would love to go this is the one at the top of the list. PARIS! I would LOVE to visit Paris one day. Their is something about the architecture and details of the buildings that intrigues my mind. It's vintage, yet modern & sleek but stylish.

The other night while laying in bed Morgan was asking a lot of questions...I said, "Wow Morgan you sure are full of questions tonight." She responded, "Ya Momma, they are in my mouth!" All we could do was giggle...I often wonder where kids get some of the things they say!

Day 3

Day 3: A photo that makes you happy.

 My Story: There are many photos that make me smile...but right now this is what made me smile this morning! I found some little tin mailboxes, one for Shawn and Zach...each day from February 1st till February 14th the boys will get a heart in their mailbox with a letter on it. On Valentine's Day, once everyone is home form work and school, they will have to put together their letters to figure out what their gift is before opening their gift. For today, that is what makes me smile...knowing that for the next 14 days each of the boys will have a smile on their face when the wake-up in the morning!
