The post below....

On Christmas Eve we went to church and enjoyed a WONDERFUL service. Our Pastor always know just what we need in our lives...I know that is the Lord working through him. Our world has become filled with such distress and anger with all the people out of work and hurting for money just to survive. This is something that Shawn and I have unfortunately had to go through, as Shawn was laid off 3 times in the past 3 years. We have made it work and I thank God everyday that he has been there to help us, because I have still been able to stay home to be a mommy! Shawn is finally working again and through all of the stress the past 3 years the service on Christmas Eve really opened my eyes to realize even more all the "stuff" really doesn't matter because I have my family, my husband, my children, my parents, my sis...all of you! I have struggled this year with friendships and thinking those were "true" friendships and really they weren't. I am thankful for those in my life who are near and far. So with all of that I just want you to watch this video and listen to the words and know NOTHING in life is worth being upset over as long as you have your loved ones...you can SURVIVE it ALL!

CHRISTmas 2010

Heading out for church with Grandma and Grandpa.
Ready for church...purse and all!
This year with our Christmas cards I decided to do something different...which now is going to turn into something special. I took every picture card we got and put it on our tree this year. I found that our tree now is a little to small for all the ornaments and cards...so a new, bigger tree is in store for us for our ornaments and this one will now hold our cards each and every year!
There is always a favorite gift...well this is Morgan's!

Zach would not let me take pictures of him, with his favorite, but it was his new PSP...you should have seen his face light up when he opened the box. Christmas through a kids eye will NEVER get old!

So Much To Do...

Every Wednesday I lead a bible study in my home for moms and their kids. Last week we decided to have a brunch potluck and let the kids decorate cookies...YUM!
My mom saw this reindeer advertised for Build a Bear and couldn't resist to take Miss Morgan there to make her very own Clarice...she even talks! Morgan LOVES her reindeer!

This past weekend we headed to Prescott to have Christmas with Shawn's family. The kids had so much fun opening and playing with their new toys.
On the way home we stopped to picked up some flowers and make a new arrangement for Shawn's Grandmother. Morgan kept saying, "Hi Great Grandma Shero". It was too cute! Wish I could have met her!

Lastly we have been playing and feeding the ducks with our friend Tristan. Morgan and him are best buds! Now off to have some more fun...see you in a few days!

All Dressed Up...

Wishing on a penny in the fountain!
Morgan and I enjoyed a wonderful Sunday at the Orpheum for our annual Christmas Ballet that Dance Motion puts on. This year it was The Twelve Dancing Princesses. Morgan just LOVES sitting and watching the dancers. I have a friend whos' kids dance in it every year. Morgan also enjoyed her sucker after the show...if you couldn't tell! :)

A few of my Christmas favorites...

I love collecting gingerbread men, houses, ornaments, etc.. for Christmas decor in my kitchen. We are BIG fans of The Polar Express in this house, especially Morgan because of the train. This year we are going to be enjoying a ride on The Polar Express. Lastly Santa Claus...who doesn't LOVE Santa. I think I enjoy it more now because of the looks of the kids faces when they wake up on Christmas morning and see what Santa has delivered for them.

What are some of your Christmas Faves??

Playing some games
Meeting Santa...Morgan was not happy
To end our 4 1/2 hours here we ate dinner at the restaurant...we had great food, and now I know EVERYTHING Shawn wants/needs for his next hunting trips! :)

A Christmas Tea

I enjoyed a fabulous tea with some amazing business women last night.
We headed out to Mesa to The Front Porch Tea Cafe. Such a cute place!

These were our place settings...LOVE that they were all a bit different!
The first course was a cinnamon scone.
Our main course was sandwiches; cucumber on flat bread with cream cheese spread, chicken salad on wheat, and turkey with a flavored cream cheese spread. All was so YUMMY!
Then for desert were some peanut bars, mint brownies and spritz cookies. (I only had a cookie!)
Such a cute little place. I can't wait to go back for a Tea Party!

Justin

Just wanted to post a few pictures of this little boy who touched so many lives during his short time with us. These pictures were taken when he was in my fourth grade class. We were on a field trip with our Pen Pals from another school. Justin you are SO missed!!

Family Time

I am a little late posting our first Thanksgiving photos...so here they are. We headed up to Prescott to celebrate with Shawn's family on Wednesday night and cam home Friday. It was nice to get away for a few days!
Danielle and Cathy (Shawn's sis and mom)

This was after we ate...can you tell?

On Friday Cathy, Morgan and I ventured out to downtown Prescott to visit all the little boutique shops. Super fun, Morgan found a candy store and got Mimi to go in and buy her a marshmallow ice cream cone!
When we got back Zach tried to take Mimi down in the grass...I'm still not sure who won! :)
