Vietnam Replica Wall

Over the weekend my parents, Morgan and I went to see the replica of the Vietnam Wall. It was placed at a local cemetery in North Phoenix. They had a candlelight vigil on Saturday night. During the time of the Vietnam War my father, along with his parents and brothers lived in Japan. My Grandfather was part of the war, lucky for him his ranking was high enough that he did not actually fight in the war. He was in an office. It was breathtaking to see all of these names on the wall knowing that each one lost their life in such a tragic affair.

At the entrance of the cemetery they created a time capsule for all of the memorabilia that was left by the wall. People left pictures, flowers, flags, and many other items that all were put inside of this capsule and buried in remembrance of these brave soldiers.
