Labor Day weekend was such a blast for our family. My parents go camping every year to the same spot with some friends. The past two years Shawn and I lived up there, so we just came down during the day. This year we were able to camp with them the entire weekend. There is about 30 people that get together every Labor Day and hang out. We pay one family for all the food and they cook breakfast and dinner for everyone the entire weekend. It is awesome food too! Our camping spot is in Happy Jack, about 15 miles south of the 87 on Lake Mary Road. Going up here this weekend
definitely made it hard for Shawn and I to want to come back down here to the valley. We sure miss it up there.
It rained almost all afternoon on Saturday...so on Sunday it was time to take the toys out and go play in the mud! And boy did we get MUDDY...but it was so fun! Here is my dad after his first ride...this is clean for him. After his second ride he was actually covered from head to toe in MUD!
Here is my sister, Shawn and I. My sister was leaving to head home on Sunday and said she wanted to go for a short ride before she left...She made it VERY clear that she did NOT want to get muddy because she had to drive home. Well she rode the quad and Shawn and I were in the ranger...guess we all got MUDDY!

Morgan's first experience playing in the dirt. It was Grandma's idea...I was a little freaked out at first...but all kids get dirty when they camp...right??? :) (I am a germ-a-
phob...can you tell).
What a great weekend we had together as a family! We are working on planning a trip to Williams to ride the Grand Canyon Train next. What an experience that will be for Miss Morgan and Zach!

SO fun! We LOVE camping and riding too! We just need to buy a toy hauler to make it easier! Bet the kiddos enjoyed it too. Morgan is so cute and growing up so quick...we need to get together soon!
We should all go camping together!!! That would be so much fun! We've got a pop-up trailer that could sleep another family, so Corie could stay with us! Seriously...that would be a great time!
