I-Chat, Library, Dinner, and Trains...OH MY!

On Sunday we had an i-chat breakfast with our family from Colorado. My Grandma cooks a delicious breakfast for the family in Colorado and my mom cooks for us here and we all get together on i-chat so we can see and talk to one another. We schedule one of these a month. My cousin Michelle, who moved to Germany, was going to join us, but was not feeling well...so we will eagerly await next months breakfast so she too can join. (The AZ family is in the small box, and the CO family is on the larger portion of the screen...some of us would not get in camera view site...boo to you!
Morgan and Ashlyn were VERY busy coloring instead of chatting.
On Wednesday evening we decided to check out the Corner Stone Bakery Cafe. My parents, and sister met Shawn, Zach, Morgan and I there. It was great food!

Today Shawn had the day off so we decided to head to Scottsdale to enjoy a beautiful day with Morgan and Tyson. Tyson is the little boy I babysit during the week...and also Morgan's BFF! The entire way to the park Morgan kept asking for the horse. When we arrived and she saw the carousel...she took off...but then when we rode it...she wanted off...hmmm not sure, but she was upset again when daddy took her off the ride.

Here she is sitting on the bench waiting for daddy saying "horse mama, horse".

After we rode the carousel and the train we walked around and played for a bit.

Morgan just LOVES the slide!
Tyson...happy baby boy wishing he could slide too!

Here are Morgan and Tyson at lunch...not sure what she is trying to teach him right here...but it looks pretty serious! :)

To end our trip to Scottsdale we headed into Sprinkles. This was Shawn's first experience with a Sprinkles cupcake, so I had to get him two different kinds so he could decide which was the best. For me...they ALL are the best!

Preparing our new home has taken so much of our time lately. I am looking forward to sharing our home with you once we are in and unpacked. I am also looking forward to blogging again on a regular basis instead of once a week. I have posted some of my home projects on my craft blog..the link is on the upper right side of this blog.

Where have we been....

We have been dancing in our jammies...
Eating cookies with Grandpa....
Sliding with Grandma...

Laying sod in our new backyard...

having tile laid in our new house....making gifts for fellow Mary Kay friends who have made it to their Red Jacket level...

and the rest...well was spent with family, friends, and fun. Our new home is almost done being renovated. I am getting super excited to share our before and after photos. I decorated a bit in my new kitchen today, found a new bedroom and bathroom set for the master, and some fun items for Morgan and Zach's new rooms. We should be moving in about mid-March. Stay tuned for some very fun before and after pictures! Until then, I am booking Mary Kay parties...selling like crazy...having fun with my family...and LOVING it ALL!

Morgans 1/2 birthday

Today we celebrate Morgan's 1/2 birthday. She turned 18 months today. My how it has just come and gone. I am so thrilled that I have had the opportunity to stay home with her and be the one to teach her new things, take her to the library and museums, on trips and many more places. Each day her vocabulary is increasing. Shawn has taught her to say "Peace Out". She hasn't figured out how to hole up the peace sign, but she holds up 1 finger. "Please" and "Thank-you" are part of her vocabulary on a regular basis. She has a love for oatmeal in the mornings and gets so excited when it is breakfast time. There is so much more I could say, but most of all her smile and personality just do it for me. I LOVE every minute of my days with my little Princess.

The Queen's Court

Okay ladies...I am SO excited about my new career with Mary Kay that I just have to share it with all of you in more detail. First of all I have only been a Mary Kay Consultant for 3 weeks and I have gone from an Independent Beauty Consultant to a Senior Beauty Consultant...with hardly any work! I take 1 hour a day...yes only 1 hour and I devote my time solely to my Mary Kay business. I make phone calls, schedule facials, interviews, and follow-ups. That's it. Last week I had my first two classes on Saturday and in a matter of 4 hours...2 hours per party...I POCKETED $300.00. It was super easy and SO fun! I have already earned my pearl earrings, bracelet, and necklace. Now I am working on winning a trip to Austin, Texas to our National Director's home to have a weekend of Mary Kay pampering. I just wish you could all see and hear the excitement behind this post!! I was a consultant for Passion Parties and a Demonstrator for Gold Canyon and NEVER earned anything...not even any money really. I have never been so excited and passionate about a job before. Don't get me wrong I LOVED teaching, but now that I have Miss Morgan I do not want to go back. My Mary Kay business is ALREADY allowing that to happen! Here is a glimpse at a few things I have already earned.

This is Stacey and I tonight at our meeting. I was crowned "Queen of Selling" and Stacey was crowned "Queen of Sharing".
Thank you for letting me share my excitement with you!! Every Tuesday night I come home more excited and more eager to start growing my Mary Kay business!

Fun filled day!

Our day started out in Scottsdale for a family picture shoot. This is a sneak peak of what's to come....with the other photos. After family pictures we headed back home and Morgan and Zach left with my dad to go have a sleep over with my parents. Shawn went to work on our new house and I left for my first 2 Mary Kay parties. My first party was at 1p.m. It was a great party. I sold a lot. The second party was at 6p.m. This party was even better and I booked 2 more classes. My goal is to be in MY very own PINK Cadillac. This has been a very productive day and now I am off to bed. Church and painting tomorrow!

Friends and Toys

Today was a very busy day for us. We started our day taking Shawn to our new home so he could continue painting. We dropped him off and headed to the library to meet up with our friends Christie, Hayden, Duncan, and Donavan (no pictures...camera died...boo) for Babies, Books and Beyond. After that we headed back to our new house to take daddy lunch, then headed home to get Zach because he had early release today. Babies went down for a nap, Zach did homework and chores, and I made calls and booked a few classes for Mary Kay. Then we were off again...took Zach to my sisters house, came home...changed clothes, diaper, got sippy cup and headed out to The Sandbar with Morgan to meet a couple gals I went to college with. Kristin is here visiting from Puerto Rico, so we have to get as many visits in as possible. It was such a great time to catch up and chat for awhile. Kyler, Kristin's 6 year old son, kept Morgan quite entertained...colored with her, explained what color every crayon was and asked her to pick out a certain one. He was such a good teacher tonight. After dinner we headed home to set up Morgan's new slide...the whole time she just kept saying "slide, slide, slide". I think she said it 50 times. Again, Morgan and I had such a wonderful day together.

Here is Kyler coloring with Morgan.

Kristin, Allyson and Me. We all went to ASU and graduated with our bachelor's in Elementary Ed. Allyson and I also got our Masters from UofP in Curriculum and Instruction.

Here is Morgan on her new slide. She was saying "Ready, Set, Go!"
