Slide and Sleep
Today we woke up and had breakfast then got ready and headed over to my sister's house. She lives within walking distance right now...we are sure going to miss that. When we got there my dad was just pulling up and Morgan got VERY excited. She started saying "oh, oh, oh" then she blurted out "oh my gosh". She gets herself so worked up when my parents come over that she almost starts to cry, because she is so excited to see them. My dad took her across the street to play on the slides for a little bit...Morgan LOVES to slide. She says..."go, go, go".

After playing at the park for a bit my mom and I headed to Sam's Club...Morgan feel asleep in the car so I just carried her into the store, thinking she would wake up...she didn't. We put the floppy on the cart and I laid her down and she slept in this position 1/2 way through the store. She put LOT'S of smiles on the faces of the people walking past us!

Raggady Ann
For Christmas this year my Nana got Morgan a Raggedy Ann doll. Morgan instantly fell in love with it and called it her "babeee". Well the dolls name is a definite match...as I found my old Raggedy Ann doll. My they have come such a long ways with toys these days. Morgan did not even want to touch my doll...she said "ewe" when I tried to hand it to her....I just told her...Hey mommy's doll is old, she just needs a little LOVE...

Well as I stated in my previous post Little Miss now likes to ONLY eat by herself with her fork...she does still need some help getting the food on the fork...but that's about all the help she will allow.

Celebrating 17 months like a Movie Star
Today marks 17 months for Miss Morgan. WOW...how time flies. I have been blessed with being able to stay home with Morgan for these past 17 months. I pray everyday that God continues to bless me with this great opportunity.
Morgan's vocabulary is amazing. She repeats EVERYTHING you say, LOVES to talk on the phone to Auntie Mel, Grandma, and Pop. She gets SO excited for Minnie Mouse anything. She knows the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" and just LOVES dancing to it and doing the motions. I have tried to video tape her, but she gets video shy. She has begun to feed herself with a spoon and fork and WILL NOT eat if you try to feed her. The words please and thank you have become part of her vocabulary for everything that she asks for! Yeah for the manners...I hope they stay around for awhile! HeeHee! She just got her first molar and the second one is popping through. Our dog Paris is Morgan's fav...she calls her Pais...which really sounds like Piss...my sister gets a kick out of that one! Each and everyday there are new wonders for her. I am excited to see what 2010 brings our family...hopefully a new bundle of joy for Miss Morgan and Zach to play with.....

Fiesta Bowl Youth Football Clinic
Today we took Zach to the Fiesta Bowl Youth Football Clinic. My mom found this awhile back, so we signed him up and this was one of his stocking presents for Christmas. Zach was a little...okay A LOT...nervous at first, but once he got out there and met some other boys he was good to go! The kids rotated in groups of about 30 to 6 different stations. They had coaches from different teams leading each station. (Zach is running toward us in this photo).

After the kids finished all the stations they gathered around for a special visit from some of the players from the 2 teams playing in the Fiesta Bowl this year...Bosie and TCU. The kids all got to shake hands with the players and I snuck around the back and got two of the players to take pictures with Zach. This is Collin Jones from TCU with Zach. He was such a nice guy to Zach. He stepped aside and asked him his name and a few other questions, I know it made Zach feel very special!
Sedona
New Years Day my Mom, Sister, Princess, Morgan and I had a girls day in Sedona. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Our first stop was The Chapel of the Holy Cross. This Chapel is absolutely amazing.
The view from inside the church...breathtaking.
My Sister, Princess, Morgan and I waiting outside the Chapel for my mom...she was shopping in the gift shop!
What a beautiful view it was from the Chapel.

Our next stop was The Secret Garden Cafe for lunch. This little Cafe is dog friendly. When we arrived the owner greeted us and took us to the back garden area. She looked at Princess, my sister's dog, and said "You are why I bought this place, we will get you step up first, then the humans next." My sister thought it was great, as Princess is her baby.
One of the little ponds and fountains in the garden area where we sat.
We had this area to ourselves...it was nice to enjoy a quiet lunch outside.
The salads were great, their dressing is homemade. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich...Y-U-M-M-Y!
And even Princess was served a small bowl of grilled chicken and a large bowl of filtered water.
After lunch we headed down to the park by the creek. The park was called "The First Little Piggy Park". As we walked through the arch I noticed something on the ground nearby, so we walked over to see...it was a Chess/Checkers board...Morgan size chess pieces. Then all the concrete tables around the board had miniature game boards on them. It made me think of Alice in Wonderland.

On New Years Day Shawn, Zach, my Dad and my Uncle Shawn all joined some friends out by Lake Pleasant for their annual Shot Gun Shoot Tournament. This is something Shawn looks forward to every year! Zach is usually the "puller" for the clay pigeons...this year he made money for doing...I guess it pays when the old men drink! :)
There is Shawn getting ready for the "bird".
