Today we took Zach to the Fiesta Bowl Youth Football Clinic. My mom found this awhile back, so we signed him up and this was one of his stocking presents for Christmas. Zach was a little...okay A LOT...nervous at first, but once he got out there and met some other boys he was good to go! The kids rotated in groups of about 30 to 6 different stations. They had coaches from different teams leading each station. (Zach is running toward us in this photo).
After the kids finished all the stations they gathered around for a special visit from some of the players from the 2 teams playing in the Fiesta Bowl this year...
Bosie and
TCU. The kids all got to shake hands with the players and I snuck around the back and got two of the players to take pictures with Zach. This is Collin Jones from
TCU with Zach. He was such a nice guy to Zach. He stepped aside and
asked him his name and a few other questions, I know it made Zach feel very special!
This is Ewing...I dont' remember his first name... with Zach. He plays for
Bosie.
I think this is the hardest Zach has been worked/trained in a long time. He had to wake up early, as this started at 9am and it did not end till 1:30...hopefully he will sleep good tonight!
