San Francisco...Our Journey

Our Journey began at 3:00am on Tuesday morning as we awoke to get ready for our trip...we had to be to the airport by 4:30am. My sis and I stayed up until 1:00am...so going on 2 hours of sleep we were already exhausted!! The flight there was great...we were delayed a bit due to rainy weather in San Francisco...after a 3 hour flight and an interesting ride to the hotel we arrived about 10:30am to drop off our luggage and begin our day!
Mel, Me and Morgan at Fisherman's Wharf

Morgan's fave attraction at Pier 39!

Boudin Bakery...YUMMY food here! Sourdough bread was all they served...and all the soups were in bread bowls!!
A few pics from around town...Coit Tower, A cute little restaurant in Castro, notice the clock...it says Time to Shop! That is my kinda clock!
Our trip to Alcatraz
Amazing journey through Alcatraz! So much history there! It was one of the BEST stops of the trip!

Beautiful gardens at Alcatraz.

Ghirardelli Square...another WONDERFUL spot!

Our nature views as we walked to the Golden Gate Bridge!
Crissy Field/Beach along our walk. We had lunch in their cute little cafe under the Golden Gate Bridge.
GGB...when we arrived there was no fog at all...as we walked across the bridge the fog increased. It took us almost 30 minutes, one way to walk across the bridge. It was very windy and cold up there!
Cute little aquarium...not worth the price...but worth every penny to watch Morgan explore all the sea creatures!

Another hot tourist attraction near Ghirardelli Square. Lot's of ships to walk aboard and explore!
We had dinner at a place called Tarantino's one night...YUMMY food and great service...Morgan got the ROYAL treatment of being able to go into the kitchen to thank the cook and box her own food.
She also got a cup of ice cream on the way out!
On one of our tours we were told this is the Rice-A-Roni street!
We found a cute little garden after walking up to Lombard street.
Having fun in the rose garden.
Enjoying a ride on the trolley!
Lombard Street...the World's Crookedest Street.
This was a wonderful trip celebrating my sister's 29th birthday! Over the course of the 4 days we walked about 25 miles and took over 600 photos...we were true tourists' on this trip! :) The food was great, the hotel was decent, the people who were in charge of public transportation were horrible, the water was cold, and the attractions and sights were amazing!
