Homemade Ravioli's....

Shawn and I have been spiking our interest in foods as of late. The other night we decided to make homemade ravioli's from scratch...that meant homemade noodles, filling, and sauces. YIKES!!! What a mess...but the taste was worth it ALL!!
We made the noodles, then I started on the 3 cheese filling. Next was the sauce. I made Tomato and Alfredo Sauce. NEVER again will I but Alfredo sauce...homemade is the BEST!!! Heavy cream, butter, spices and Parmesan cheese is all I used! This meal was a HIT for our family!

A new "Pack Pack"

A new "Pack Pack" for Preschool!!

Morgan is so excited to start preschool in the Fall. Ever since we toured the school and got her registered that is all she talks about, along with needing a new "Pack Pack"! Well we found the one she wanted...it is perfect size and she was SO happy it had Princesses on it!! (I am pretty sure reality will hit her once I just drop her off and leave...then she may not be as excited!)

Movie Fun Friday's

Well we are at the point in Morgan's life where she has started saying, "I can do it ALL by myself!"

So sometimes I just go with it and let her do it "ALL by herself!"
Like picking out her attire for our movie's on Friday's with our friends!

Today involved this "fancy" dress, with black bloomers because I had on a black shirt, her "sparkly" shoes, and her Sleeping Beauty Crown...I tried to escape the crown...but she FREAKED out when we walked into the living room without it!! Soooo away we went, to the movies, CROWN and all!!

Birthday Celebration!!

After a week of vacation I came to enjoy a great night out with some fab women to celebrate a friends birthday!
Celebrating Michele's Birthday (sitting front and center)

Such a fun night a even though we were out having fun...it was rather relaxing! I LOVE being a stay-at-home mommy...but we all need some grown-up time!

Baptizism

Over the past few years I have been wanting to get baptized again. Our church does it every month at the church, but for whatever reason that is not how or where I wanted to do it. Last week while sitting at church our Pastor had stated something which made me come up with the idea to do it at my home, with my family and friends for my birthday this year! What a great way to remember this amazing day!! I am so happy the people who mean the most to me were able to join me as I, again, committed my life to the Lord. Thank you amazing family and friends!

Still finding time to play...

From cleaning, making wedding invitations, planning birthday parties, getting a new job...to everything in between we have been on the go...but we are still finding time to be a little silly in there!!
Getting a pedicure
and manicure with mommy!
Ready to head out to see our friends for dinner!
Enjoying yogurt with our friends at PS Yogurt
Coloring on the chalk wall at PS Yogurt
Licking, yes licking her pizza...
Playing in the laundry bucket!
Showing Auntie Mel what she looks like in her new jammies,
and now showing her they are a little short! :)
Enjoying a late night movie with mommy and daddy!
The school year has ended, now summer school begins for Zach. He has been gone with his grandparents since school got out. We are in the process of putting our house on the market again and moving. Not far I'm sure, just to something a bit bigger. Morgan and I leave for San Diego soon, to enjoy the beach and fresh air...well as fresh as it gets in Cali! I have decided that as of August 3rd I will no longer be babysitting. Morgan is going to start preschool at a Christian school, so I will sub at our local school district while she is in school. I have also started a part time job being the office assistant for a Mary Kay director who is 4th highest in our state. She lives near me and I am so excited to be able to learn from her and grow my business even more! Shawn continues to stay busy with all his welding and building of things for customers...he is getting ready to start a balance beam for a gymnast, and some more fencing and gates, amongst other little projects.

So here is to the month of June, my birthday month ;) , and to summer school, summer movies, swimming, vacations and new beginnings for all!
