CUPCAKES for all...

I was recently invited to "like" a page on Facebook called Amy Miller Designs. After exploring the page and reading what it was all about I decided to "Like" it...cuz after all I LOVE cute decor for my home. Well a few weeks ago I was doing some late night blogging and decided to check out facebook...this is what I found:

Psst…guess what? My Shop is now OPEN. Here are the details: My shop will be open now through Sept. 28. I will temporarily close it from Sept 29-Oct 11, it will re-open Oct 12 and be open from then on. I will have a Grand Opening in a few months. So without further ado, Welcome to Amy Miller Designs – The Shop! ... Oh wait, wait, wait…that’s no way to kick off my Opening. How about a chance to win 1 free cupcake? Everyone cool with that? Ok…the 1st person to visit my shop, pick out their favorite cupcake color and post a comment below stating your favorite color will win it. Now go…run…hurry…but don’t fall! See if you can be the one to post the first comment! Click the link below to go to the shop! (Immediate family members…you are not eligible for this contest…you already got your freebie;)

This was posted by Amy Miller Designs, so I rushed to my keyboard and filled in my response:

My fave is the dark pink cupcake!

I was the first on to respond and a few days later I received my cupcake in the mail. I picked the pink because it adds a touch of color to my kitchen, as my colors are black and white with pink accents.

I am so excited to announce that Amy Miller has decided to create cupcakes for the holidays as well and include holiday wrappers...and we can even buy a dozen at a time.

Go check out what she has to offer:

Kidding Around Playtown

Last week we took a field trip to a place called Kidding around Playtown. I recently joined a networking group and I met the owner of Kidding around Playtown in my group so we decided to check it out for Tristan's birthday. The kids had a blast...and it is SUPER clean!! Their website is http://www.kiddingaroundplaytown.com/
Check it out!!

Kidding around Playtown has everything from Grandma's Attic, a Mini Mart, Home Depot, and even a little Boutique. There are more rooms for the kids to play in and even room for you to pack your lunch and enjoy an afternoon there. I am excited to go back with our bible study group in a couple of weeks.

Fashion Diva

This past weekend we attended the Children's Expo. The main reason for attending was for Miss Morgan's first fashion show...but after arriving and seeing all there is to do for children I was excited that we could spend the day in a/c and still have a little fun!

Morgan is a PRO at jumping and bouncing due to the use of our trampoline...so when she saw the bounce house she was so excited to "catch a little air".
The Phoenix Police department did her fingerprints while we were there.
She shared samples of drinks and snacks with Grandpa.
Hung out with Auntie Mel and Grandma.
Sat on the BIG red couch....
and even visited with Belle.
But our main reason for going was to watch this little Princess walk across the stage in her two outfits...
This was her first outfit...she wasn't sure what to expect when she first got on stage...
but by the second outfit she knew just what to do and strutted across that stage.

SHERO

Before we left for our trip to Colorado I decided that I wanted to make a photo to hang in our home that spells out our last name. I pondered on what to do and then I decided that I wanted to find different things along our trip that looked like each letter and use that to create my new wall hanging...so this is what I found...

S: A piece of the brick wall at my Grandparent's home.
H: Part of a railroad track in Ouray, Colorado
E: A piece of the fence also at my Grandparent's home.
R: A plant hook hanging off the porch at my Aunt's house.
O: A sunflower in Flagstaff outside of the gas station we stopped at.

I used a photo editing program and made all the photos the same and that is what I used to create our new wall hanging. It looks similar to the header of my blog.

Non-Stop!!

My weekend started off with a LARGE MK Party on Friday night!! New recruit..HUGE sales!!

Happy Birthday Tristan! On Saturday I had yet another MK facial...more sales!! Then Morgan and I headed to our friend Tristan's 3rd birthday party! Morgan LOVES to play with Tristan and his sister!
The party theme was Thomas the Train...so Morgan had a blast with all the train toys!
She also had a blast running around in her little bathing suit and towel!

Happy Grandparent's Day!! My parent's got to enjoy the company of Miss Morgan today as I headed out to Tempe for an ASU Sorority MK Party. Football started today and of course I had to dress Morgan in Denver attire to match her Grandparent's today as they headed to Queen Creek for another birthday party!

Morgan spoiled her Grandparent's with a box of Paradise Bakery cookies and a card!!
All set-up for our party! We had a blast and can't wait to go back for our next sorority event!!
We displayed a great lay out for the girls to view all of our fabulous products!!

All women should be 3 things:
1. Classy
2. Fabulous
3. MK Beauty Consultant
